Event Description:
If you are a veteran with a great business idea, don't miss the United States Patent and Trademark Office's (USPTO) free, online 2022 Veterans Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program, coming Wednesday, November 30, from 1-4 p.m. ET.
This event is open to all, and we encourage everyone who is affiliated with the military to attend. See the agenda, learn about our guests, and register early for this special program.  
The event will feature: 
  • A fireside chat with Dr. Rory Cooper, U.S. Army veteran and inventor; Founder, Director, and CEO of the Human Engineering Research Laboratories. Cooper will discuss obstacles he’s overcome, specific inventions that have helped veterans and people with disabilities, and his strong desire to continue his service. 
  • Veteran innovators and their journeys with intellectual property (IP): Hear directly from veteran and military spouse entrepreneurs about their stories, challenges, best practices, lessons learned, and the importance of protecting their IP. 
  • Resources for veterans: Learn about veteran-focused groups that provide critical assistance and resources for inventors and entrepreneurs.
