Name: A Festival of Lessons and Carols
Date: December 13, 2025
Time: 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM CST
Event Description:
LESSONS and CAROLS is a traditional Christmas program originating in England. It tells the Christmas story, beginning with the fall of humanity (Adam and Eve), then the promise of a Messiah, the announcement to Mary, the shepherds, the wise men and finally the birth of Jesus, all told in nine short readings from Genesis, Isaiah and the Gospels, interspersed with the singing of Christmas carols and choir anthems.

Hear the angelic voice of soprano Michelle Areyzaga singing “O Holy Night” and the Grace Anglican Fellowship choir conducted by Fr. Alan Heatherington. This year’s special guests are violinist Yang Liu and his wife at the keyboard, Olivia I-Hsuan Tsai.

You will love the anthems of Philip Stopford, Will Todd, John Rutter, Dan Forrest, David Willcocks, Dan Forrest and others with congregational singing of your favorite carols:  Silent Night, Come Thou Long-Expected Jesus, Away in a Manger, and O Come All Ye Faithful.
