This is a 3-part panel series focused on advancing disability inclusion in the workplace and in business partnerships. This series will address key topics ranging from innovative business collaborations to hiring practices and tackling systemic barriers. These panels will feature insightful discussions and expert panelists from leading disability-centered organizations. Part 3 of this panel will explore the broader systemic challenges faced by individuals with disabilities and how businesses can advocate, support, or adapt their services to foster greater inclusivity and equity. Ideal Panelists: John Gotwald (Moderator) – Discussing financial planning challenges and access to services Wilson & Wilson – Providing insights on estate planning, legal rights, and guardianship topics TotalLink2 Community – Addressing both social and work-related barriers faced by individuals with disabilities Assured HomeCare – Sharing perspectives on care, support and access Key Discussion Points: What financial barriers exist (SSI, employment limits, etc.) for individuals with disabilities? How can businesses better understand and accommodate these financial and social barriers? What role can companies play in removing stigma and advocating for equity for individuals with disabilities?
