Lake Forest Symphony's May 17 concert will feature final Music Director candidate Jacomo Bairos and world renown violinist, Rachel Barton Pine. Ms. Pine will be the soloist in Barber's ravishing Violin Concerto - not to be missed! Also on the program is Copland's Fanfare for the Common Man, Schoenberg's Finding Rothko, Copland's Appalachian Spring and Marquez's Danzon No. 2. This promises to be an exciting and beautiful concert. A pre-concert lecture with Jim Kendros will take place 1 hour before the concert and there will be a post-concert reception immediately following the concert where you can meet Jacomo and Rachel as well as the Lake Forest Symphony musicians.
