Store Window Showcase - Sept. 1 through 10
Meet the Artists - Friday, Sept. 4, 3-7pm
Gorton Lot Live! - Friday, Sept. 4, 4-7pm
 

Missing the art shows and live performances around town? Then join us for our very first Arts Stroll showcase – a spontaneous walk-around celebration of the arts in store windows and cultural sites throughout downtown Lake Forest!
 
Explore artists’ displays in merchant storefronts over the 10 days and plan to visit on Friday from 3-7 to meet the artists. On Friday there will also be some rousing live entertainment – so be sure to bring a chair to enjoy performances on a stage in Gorton’s parking lot (all socially-distanced, of course!). Complimentary admission.
LIVE PERFORMANCES FRIDAY, SEPT. 4:
4:00 - CROYA Band F.L.A.M.E. playing Classic Rock (LINK)
5:00 - Citadel Theatre with onstage performances from "Annie" (LINK)
6:00 - Rendezvous Arts featuring the Metropolis Quartet (LINK)

How it works…
1     Store Window Showcase Sept. 1 thru 10 –– Downtown Lake Forest will come alive with art displays featuring many of your favorite artists from past art shows – more than 40 of them – in windows throughout the Market Square area and both north and south on Western Avenue. (Check out the interactive map that shows you where to go and who you’ll see!)
 
2      Artist “Meet & Greet” Friday, Sept. 4 from 3 to 7 pm –– Swing back to the store(s) for an opportunity to chat with the artists and purchase their art and creations – this is the closest we get to experiencing an art show this year!
 
3      Friday, Sept. 4, 3-7 pm – Gorton Lot Live! – Enjoy live entertainment from some of our favorite performers – Citadel Theatre, Rendezvous Arts, CROYA and more.
 
4      In-store drawings and promotions at your favorite stores! (Businesses with drawings are noted with ** below)
