Dena Dodd Perry is an award-winning market researcher with over 20 years of experience in the wellness industry. Detoxelicious is her first health and fitness book. Dena is a momprenuer and yoga teacher 500-CYT. She received her 200 CYT training in Hot Power Yoga. Her training is in all major aspects of yoga including restorative yoga, pranayama breathing exercises, gentle flow yoga, chair yoga, detox yoga, pregnancy yoga and many other styles. Dena received her specialized mantra meditation training from the Deepak Chopra Center in San Diego. She truly loves sharing the gift of yoga with beginners with an emphasis on breath, body alignment and meditation. Her thesis was on yoga therapy for piriformis syndrome. She is now a patented inventor of America's first stylish yoga mat organizer, made with an open heart, by a yoga teacher. She has over 25 years of experience in statistical methods as an industrial engineer with over combined 10 years of pilates and yoga experience as both a student and teacher. She teaches corporate yoga classes on a weekly basis as an employee of Active Wellness based in Sausilito, California. Dena Dodd is the founder of YogaShero and the Pop.N.Go Rain Scarf brands. Her Pop.N.Go product launched AS SEEN On SHOPNBC in February 2011. Her product was featured in many publications including Beauty Business, Women's Health, ALL YOU, REAL SIMPLE and INSTYLE and others. Dena received her industrial engineering and MBA degrees from Northwestern University. She resides in Illinois with her husband, three kids and her dog. She and her husband are active philanthropists in the Chicagoland area for Primo Center for Homeless Families, Chicago Children's Museum and Boys and Girls Clubs of Chicago. She strongly believes that giving back to communities is the price we pay for living. Dena also wants people to live well longer with plant-based lifestyle changes. She views this as her duty.

Dr. Vesna Skul is a founder and the Medical Director of the Comprehensive Center for Women’s Medicine, a multispecialty holistic medical practice for women in Chicago. 
Dr. Skul is a graduate of Rush Medical College in Chicago, is a board-certified specialist in Internal Medicine, a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and an Associate Professor of Medicine at Rush University. She is also fellowship trained and board certified in anti-aging and regenerative medicine. Her career has been devoted to caring for women in all phases of their lives. Dr. Vesna Skul speaks on a wide range of topics to professional and lay audiences around the country. Her areas of expertise within women’s health include lifestyle medicine, menopause management and the integration of alternative and complementary medicine into mainstream medical practice. In her spare time, Dr. Vesna Skul enjoys travel, classical music, hiking, organic gardening, and raw food preparation.  She avidly supports organizations empowering girls and women and protecting our environment.
