League of Women Voters-Lake Forest/Lake Bluff Area is hosting this event, featuring Dr. Doug Tallamy, renowned professor/conservationist and co-founder of Homegrown National Park. He will present insights into surprising natural processes unfolding in our own yards. After the presentation, attendees can speak with experts and enthusiasts from local organizations to learn more about how our yards interact with the native savannas, wetlands, prairies, and woodlands that surround us.
