Faith@Work at The Church of the Holy Spirit welcomes Bob Whelan, Head of School at Lake Forest Country Day on Friday, May 19 at 7:30 a.m.
In his opening comments on the school website Bob reminds us that, "Inspired" is a central word in Lake Forest Country Day's mission, and it helps to define our remarkable learning environment." Valuing heart and soul, mind and body are central to the way that Bob lives his life in and out of the classroom. Bob has been in the community only a short while but people speak of being transformed by their relationship with him.
Alumni as well as parents and students speak of his outreach, thoughtful inclusion, sensitivity to the individual, capable leading, and most of all his love and enthusiasm for his work and friends and importantly family. We look forward to hearing the ways in which Bob's faith has formed and guided him and to be blessed by the gathering of friends both from The Church of the Holy Spirit and beyond.
