The Lake Bluff History Museum Ghost Walk spirits are gathering to bring the village’s haunted history to life. Held every-other year, Ghost Walk transports visitors through creative storytelling to a place long ago, where unfathomable souls from Lake Bluff’s past rise up to tell their stories. This year’s tour links Lake Bluff history to Hollywood Classic Horror and Suspense films.
Look for the cemetery on Scranton Avenue where the Night of the Living Dead await your arrival. And beware, there may be a Nightmare on Center Avenue!
Ghost Walk has been a beloved Lake Bluff tradition since 1997. More than 200 volunteers come together to thrill and educate nearly 1,000 fortunate ticket holders. This year’s event is on October 18 & 19. Tours begin for mortals at 6 pm and depart every 15 minutes from the Museum, 127 E. Scranton Avenue, Lake Bluff.
Ghost Walk is one of the Museum’s major fundraisers. Tickets cost $45 and may be purchased on line at Lakebluffhistory.org/events.
