Holiday Giving For Our Veterans

This event will have a volunteering portion where folks can stop in to make no-sew fleece blankets, along with the opportunity to drop off donations of non-perishable food, new blankets, and new games, puzzles, and playing cards. No sign up is necessary for dropping off donations, but we do appreciate sign ups for blanket making so we can provide a sufficient quantity of blanket kits. Donations will be brought to the Midwest Veterans Closet in North Chicago, IL - a great charity that provides free clothing, food, etc. to veterans and service members in our area. You can learn more about them here. Students in high school, and in middle school with an adult, are welcome. We will do our best to accommodate service hour needs/signatures.
