Listening is the key to success in work and in all aspects of your life. Listening is much more active than most people think. In this session learn and practice receiving, organizing and interpreting what is said. Jerry will help you develop skills in active listening; show you how to avoid distractions, and practice listening to understand.

After a 36 yeear career at Baxter as a Sr Manager in Biostatistics, Jerry has honed his communication and leadership skills as a statistical consultant for a medical device company.  He is known for his ability to translate technical topics to lay terms as evidenced in providing statistical training to thousands of engineers and scientists.
Jerry Phillips has been a member of Toastmasters International for over 30 years. Toastmasters International a world leader in communication and leadership development.  He is currently serving as the North Division Director of Chicagoland District 30.
