Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Historical Society and Lake Forest College present Lake County in the Civil War: From Front Line to Home Front.

Speaker: Diana Dretske, Lake County Discovery Museum. Diana has been on the staff at the Lake County Discovery Museum since 1990, working exclusively with its Lake County archival and objects collections. She has published three books on Lake County history, including "Images of America: Fort Sheridan," and writes a weekly blog on local history.

Musical Performance: Music Institute of Chicago. Music Institute of Chicago students will serenade arriving guests with period music from composer Stephen Foster.
