Join the Lake Forest Civic Orchestra for our Sunday concert series at Gorton Center.  The orchestra continues our season of celebration with Gloria. We mark our 35th anniversary season with a new work by Chicago-based composer Amos Gillespie. Brahms’s Variations on a Theme by Haydn is not only a wonderfully exuberant score, but this experimentation in the orchestral medium led to the composition of his triumphant first symphony (which the orchestra will play in May). 

The concert is anchored by a collaboration with Lake Forest High School “Forester Singers” and freshmen from the “Select Group - Tenors and Basses” who join Lake Forest’s orchestra for Vivaldi’s joyous Gloria.
