LF-LB Artisan Guild to Host French Market Boutique Featuring Array of French Bakery Treats, Live Music and Stalls Brimming with Unique Creations from Local Artists! The Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Artisan Guild will host an authentic and lively French Market, November 11-12 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at CROYA/Lake Forest Recreation Center(400 Hastings Road). Shoppers will enjoy the ambiance and find wonderful treasures for themselves and others, all while benefiting our local artists and the community. The event will feature live music and a vibrant market atmosphere with stalls brimming with irresistibly-priced creations made by the community?s most popular artists, including LF-LB Artisan of the Year, Lori Bettendorf. Shoppers will find jewelry, soaps, cards, candy, hand-carved pens, paintings, fabric purses and much more. In addition, French baker Claude Bouteille will be on site serving sweet treats and café lunch from his Taste of Paris Café. Claude is a well- known, former Lake Forest merchant, who moved his business to Mundelein several years ago. No doubt residents will be glad to see him and taste his delicious cuisine. Proceeds from the French Market will benefit CROYA (www.croya.com), the Mothers Trust Foundation (http://www.motherstrustfoundation.org), and the valuable programs they provide for community youth.
