The Lake Forest Symphony begins its final concert of the season with Tchaikovsky's extroverted Polonaise, only to be silenced by the introspective and mysterious beginning of Schubert's Unfinished Symphony. A profound and tremendous work, it was a significant proponent in Maestro Kulenovic's dedication to music from a very early age. The season concludes with pianist Wael Farouk's return to the Lake Forest in the herculean Third Piano Concerto of Sergei Rachmaninov.
