          Managing your money while unemployed is a unique and challenging experience, but there are definitely things you can do to keep your personal finances under control. This program will focus on learning what you can do while in transition to maintain your financial health and prioritize your financial goals. Knowing what resources are available to you and how to cut expenses can alleviate some of the financial burden of unemployment. Now that tax season is underway, Melissa will highlight the deductions available to job seeker and other tax opportunities and discuss new tax law changes for 2017.

     Melissa Osuch is a Financial Advisor with over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. She has worked as a bank Vice President, a bank consultant, and is currently a registered investment advisor representative. She spent six years as a corporate trainer and enjoys teaching adults and motivating individuals to plan for their future. Melissa earned both her MBA and Certificate in Financial Planning from DePaul University. In addition she holds licenses in insurance, long term care and annuities as well as her FINRA Series 7, 66 and 24 licenses.
