The goal of this town hall is to bring together older adults, their families, and local leaders from the Senior Resources Commission, Dickinson Hall, and the Lake Bluff Park District to share perspectives, needs, and ideas. The insights gathered will help inform the SRC’s upcoming five-year plan, ensuring that future investments align with the most pressing and meaningful priorities of our senior community. Facilitated by Carol Summerfield, Executive Director of The History Center of Lake Forest-Lake Bluff, we want to hear from seniors and their families about what is important to them. From affordable senior housing, expansion of Dickinson Hall Senior Citizen Center, transportation, social services, and everything in between. Please come and share your thoughts and ideas on how to make the Lake Forest Lake Bluff community even better for all our seniors. Aging in place should be the standard, not the exception.
