For an effective job search, you must research potential employers. Jami will demonstrate how to use a multitude of online databases available through public libraries to research companies and industries, how to create a list of target companies, stay updated on industry/company news and how to get up to speed on an industry new to you.
As a business librarian at Northwestern University, Jami is Business Subject Specialist and Liaison to Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Prior to that she was a Business Librarian at Gast Business Library, Michigan State University.
Jami received her MBA in Finance, Accounting and Economics from the University of Chicago – Booth School of Business; an MLIS from University of California, Los Angeles; and a B.A. in English at Beijing International Studies University.
