Yes, we at CenterStage have brought you KISS ME KATE (the musical version of TAMING OF THE SHREW) and THE COMPLETE WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE—ABRIDGED. However, this August-September, for the first time, CenterStage offers you a chance THE GULLING OF MALVOLIO, an hour-long adaptation of the funniest scenes from TWELFTH NIGHT, one of Shakespeare’s most popular comedies. And we will bring the show to you! CenterStage will travel to three parks in Lake Forest, to the Village Green in Lake Bluff, and yes, even to City Lit Theater in Chicago to give you a chance to see Shakespeare performed by terrific actors in your own proverbial back yard—wherever that may be. And we’re doing it for FREE! THE GULLING OF MALVOLIO is our gift to thank you for supporting CenterStage for 46 years. To be honest, though, we hope you’ll give us something, too.
