Program Overview:
If you are thinking about starting a business, this session will help you understand the simple steps you need to take to become an entrepreneur. Starting your own business can be rewarding, but it is also a lot of work. We will talk about the myths of entrepreneurship and critical success factors for small businesses. We will explore the various components of a business and the types of business such as sole proprietorship, LLC, Non-Profit, “S” Corporation and “C” Corporation. At the conclusion of the session, you will fill out a self-assessment that can help determine your readiness to start a small business.
