The Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Historical Society is hosting: "Spirits of the Past", a dramatized tour of The Lake Forest Cemetery. Hear fascinating stories from the past that lie behind the monuments and markers. Community leaders and noteworthy personalities come back to life to tell their stories. Actors will portray noteworthy personalities and past community leaders - to bring history back to life.This educational and entertaining program is a wonderful way to take a step back in time and discover new things about our community. The 129-year old cemetery features examples of all period design styles, from Neo-Classical to Art Deco, Louis Comfort Tiffany to contemporary sculpture.
