A worried Frank Lambert, head gardener at the Kuppenheimer estate, finds his missing 18-year old daughter, Marion, dead in the woods on a cold February morning in 1916 in Lake Forest.  The autopsy reveals she died of cyanide poisoning.  Was it murder?  William Orpet, Marion’s boyfriend, stands as the accused.  Become a member of the jury in “the most baffling case in criminal history” and decide the guilt or innocence of Mr. Orpet.  Mystery of the Gardener’s Daughter takes place on Sunday, April 14 at 3:00 PM at Lake Forest High School.  Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online at www.lflbhistory.org or by calling 847.234.5253.
