Melinda N. Jordan, affectionately known as MJtheCloser®, is a global real estate advisor with Jameson Sotheby’s International Realty and a seasoned investor with nearly two decades of experience. With the poise of a Southern belle and the savvy of a strategic marketer, she helps clients around the world build wealth through real estate—whether buying, selling, or investing across borders.
In addition to her real estate work, Melinda serves as Vice President of Operations and Entrepreneurship Committee Director for the National Black MBA Association, Chicago Chapter. A lifelong learner and leader, she holds multiple real estate certifications and is a founding visionary of the Black Luxury Agents Collective within Sotheby’s International Realty. Based in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood and deeply rooted in her Mississippi upbringing, Melinda is a lover of travel, the arts, and community service.

Lenise S. Lee is a Chicago native from the Englewood neighborhood with over a decade of experience in nonprofit management, small business development, and operational efficiency. She is passionate about empowering Black and Latinx communities through strategic leadership, operational excellence, and mission-driven entrepreneurship.
Lenise currently serves as Director of Finance for The Academy Group, is the Founder & CEO of Collective Initiatives Inc., and the principal owner of Presentation is Everything LLC. She holds a BA in Psychology, a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and a Master of International Management. Lenise serves as an Entrepreneurship Committee Lead for the National Black MBA Association, Chicago Chapter.
Outside of her work, Lenise enjoys traveling, exploring the arts, practicing holistic wellness, and nurturing her ever-growing plant collection.
