Job Description

DINX Social Club is a high-energy social entertainment venue blending Pickleball, Golf Simulators, Karaoke, Private Events, and Nightlife. We are seeking a dynamic, hospitality-driven Event Manager to grow our events business while leading day-to-day operations and delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced, premium environment.

This role is ideal for a relationship-driven professional who thrives in both event sales and execution, and who enjoys being hands-on in a high-energy social setting.

Role Overview

The Event Manager partners closely with the General Manager to oversee private events, corporate bookings, and Club-hosted experiences while supporting daily operations across the facility. This leadership role is responsible for driving event revenue, managing on-site execution, optimizing space utilization, and maintaining elevated service standards across all guest touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

Event Sales & Business Development

  • Proactively generate new event leads through networking, partnerships, referrals, and outbound outreach, including cold calling
  • Manage incoming inquiries and convert them into booked events
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, brands, schools, social hosts, and event planners
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly event revenue and booking goals

Event Planning & Execution

  • Lead private events, corporate bookings, and DINX-hosted experiences from inquiry through execution and post-event follow-up
  • Design customized, high-end event experiences aligned with client needs and DINX brand standards
  • Coordinate logistics including timelines, staffing, vendors, food & beverage, and facility usage
  • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact during events, ensuring seamless execution and guest satisfaction

Operations & Guest Experience

  • Act as Manager on Duty during events and peak operating hours
  • Oversee daily operations across pickleball courts, golf simulators, karaoke rooms, and social spaces
  • Monitor and manage reservations using PodPlay, ensuring accurate bookings and efficient use of courts and event spaces
  • Coordinate staffing, event flow, guest check-in, and real-time operational adjustments
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, maintaining a guest-first culture
  • Willing to step in wherever needed to support the team, including assisting with guest service, serving drinks and food to guests, helping maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment

Team Leadership & Administration

  • Train, schedule, and supervise front-of-house and operations staff
  • Maintain service standards, staff professionalism, and consistent execution
  • Assist with event agreements, deposits, billing, reconciliation, and financial tracking
  • Support pricing strategies, forecasting, and operational planning
  • Partner with marketing to promote events (creating flyers in Canva)

Qualifications

  • 2–3+ years of experience in hospitality, events, clubs, entertainment venues, restaurants, hotels, or luxury experiences
  • Proven success in event sales, client relationship management, and on-site execution
  • Strong organizational, communication, and guest-service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, teams, and workflows in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with event execution, reservation systems, and daily operations
  • Ideally proficient with PodPlay or similar reservation platforms, POS systems, and basic office software
  • Experience as a server at restaurants or venues.
  • Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays

Schedule & Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as events require
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active throughout shifts
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in a dynamic venue setting

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No more than 50 per week
