Lake Forest Civic Orchestra

The Lake Forest Civic Orchestra celebrates its 37th year as Lake Forest’s orchestra. It is a true community orchestra bringing professional and accomplished amateur musicians together to perform Sunday concerts at its home, Gorton Center. The Lake Forest Civic Orchestra is an orchestra that has made it possible for people of all ages to use their musical talents and training throughout their lives. The orchestra is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization and relies heavily on business sponsorship and local advertising for funding.

This season, we concerts inspired by 5 different themes:
October 4, 2026 - Inspired by Dance
November 15, 2026 - Inspired by Place
December 20, 2026 - Inspired by Wonder - Holly Jolly presented by Gorton Center
March 14, 2027 - Inspired by Nature
May 2, 2027 - Inspired by Art

Performances typically sell out well in advance. Tickets for the four subscription concerts may be purchased directly on the LFCO website. Tickets for Inspired by Wonder - Holly Jolly may be purchased on Gorton's website.

Lake Forest Civic Orchestra performs all of its concerts at Gorton Center, located at 400 E. Illinois Road, Lake Forest, IL 60045.
